So, we created this blog to connect with each other and so far, it hasn't really gotten really far off of the ground yet... I decided to get the ball rolling and post on here :)
I assume you all know me, I am the crazy midget ninja assassin who has thoroughly enjoyed using stereotypes in my favor whenever possible and making people laugh at any given opportunity. If you don't remember me, you may have been tall, hated cool people, or just lived under a rock (just kidding of course ;).
I guess the best way to start off any discussion anywhere is to tell people about yourself, which I have now done in a short and sweet way. However, I would like to challenge everyone to post something about a fact that no one really knows about you. So, what is something that you know about yourself that no one else does?
Aaaaaaand I'll go first :)
I like to live in an organized mess, but if my room is a mess and I can't find anything when I need it most, I don't sleep well, I have a hard time getting motivated to do anything, and I will most likely be more irritable.
That being said, tell us your secret! And now, I need to go clean my room...

Some Changes
I made a change to the blog to make it open for the public to read, but only authors can post and only members can comment on posts.
If there is anyone who dislikes that everyone can see the blog, I can set the search parameters to where this blog doesn't get picked up on search engines or rarely does.
I'd like people to be able to see the blog so they can decide whether they'd like to join or not, and then we can vote as authors as to who is allowed to post and who isn't and who is allowed to comment and who isn't. I am pretty sure I can block people from commenting if I need to, but I'm not entirely sure. I'll have to check up on that.
Let me know if anything doesn't sound good or look right. You can contact me on facebook, or email me if you know my email, or comment on this post if you are a member of the blog.
Thanks! :)

I MISS YOU...WE MISS EACH OTHER...
We made some promises in high school. Promises at graduation
that we would keep in touch, hangout together, and most of all stay friends…Pffft!
Like we all kept those, regardless of how much we meant them at the time. Social
media may be a way to stay in contact, but things like Facebook are truly
insignificant ways to communicate; so many friends, so little detail. Real life
has pulled us far apart. Some of us are moms and dads, husbands and wives, boyfriends
and girlfriends, and some of us just plain dropped off the face of the earth.
We have gotten so caught up in our own lives that we have forgotten, ignored,
or pushed aside the friends that got us to this point in our lives. The best
friends that pushed us through that final senior year when we all thought we
were going to die, who signed our yearbooks with super long and colorful
messages. The friends that we laughed with, cried with, danced at prom with,
sought advice from, used to spend all our time with, and the ones that
understood us the most to the point where we did not have to explain ourselves
to everyone. Where are those people?
I can tell you.
Those exact people are reading and writing this blog. This
blog is about reconnecting, about trying to remember that closeness we had
those years in school we all spent together. I do not want us to become like
the stereotypical high school friends, who fall apart the moment they graduate
and only see each other at reunions or at the store – occasionally – and just
pass right on by each other without a word.
I know that we cannot
meet face-to-face all the time to catch up, but this blog is a more significant
way to stay in touch. We can post whatever we want, in as much or little detail
as we want, and the only ones who will see it will be us. We can post random
things, pictures, share what we are thinking, and have someone listen to it.
I get so caught up and busy between school and work that I hardly
have time to go anywhere or do anything. Plus, I hardly look at my phone (I
lose it a lot too!) or spend much time on Facebook. And that is just me, I know
that some of you are doing the same thing but raising a child/family as well.
You have your hands full and I admire that! With this blog, we can share
stories, funny quotes/thought, get advice because we knew each other so well,
or read about what is going on in each other’s live with a sense of
connectedness and closeness that we had.
I miss you all!!
